Goblin Court (April Thurs)

This is for two April sessions of Goblin Court , a storygame about Goblin’s fixing human drama. Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged, but not required. Rules will be taught. In session one we will establish tone, create our characters, and get going.

You are goblins who were brought to live in the royal castle. The Queen & her court know goblins are mystical creatures, but don’t understand what that means—and neither do you; magic is just a goblin thing, you’ve never needed to think about it much.

The Queen expects you to conjure & cast fortunes, to aid her schemes or alleviate her boredom. But be careful; the court is filled with politics, personal problems, human drama, all sorts of confusing stuff for a goblin.

While you work on your own goals, the Queen sets you strange & marvelous tasks rife with hidden political pitfalls. If you help each your Compassion & Cleverness —with maybe a bit of goblin magic— can see you through.

We will be using Zoom for our sessions. I’ll email all players about a week before the first session with the necessary links. Sessions will run up to three hours. We will plan to record, but I will confirm this with the players. The Gauntlet Code of Conduct will be in play and we will use Lines and Veils and the X-Card for safety tools.

If you sign up and your availability changes, please remember to drop from the site and give me a heads up.
