Inspiration from the Archives

I’ve recently been thinking about different resources that I use in work as an archaeologist and how they could be useful in games.

I guess these are mostly pretty specific to Ireland but I’m curious if other people have archives/collections/databases that they use.

Ordnance Survey historic maps:
Excavations Database:
Historic Environment Viewer:
Old Maps Online:
Down Survey Maps:
National Archives:
National Library:
Dublin City Libraries:
Historic Towns Atlas:

Most of these aren’t great for browsing, unless you’re looking for something specific, but they could be useful as prompts for names, places etc.
The National Folklore Collection, however, always delivers the goods
